ACECO PLANER HEADS

AceCo manufactures a comprehensive line of planer heads. Designed with computer-aided equipment and machined on fully automatic CNC equipment, our tools withstand the demands of any industrial millwork operation-providing years of trouble-free production. Manufactured with 4150 heat treated high tensile alloy steel, AceCo planer heads are engineered for maximum durability and performance.

 AceCo precision straight knife, “L” knife and “LV” knife planer heads represent the finest tooling available in the industry today. Each Ace-Loc hydraulic sleeve or taper bore planer head comes with hardened radius gibs that are heat-treated all the way through to resist screw wear. Our tried and tested gib design provides optimal chip flow. Allen head gib screws are standard on all planer heads; square and hex head screws are also available. Every AceCo head comes complete with plunger style grease zerks that have proven to be cleaner and more reliable than check ball fittings. 

Straight knife planer head pocket options include 16-60° Corrugated or Flat Back (smooth) cutting configurations with standard cutting angle of 25°. Custom cutting angles are available. “L” type and “LV” type knife planer heads come with 16-90° corrugated pocket style. Custom cutting angles are available. We also offer “Key Knife” style heads which offer customers a high quality disposable knife system.
